It Almost Feels Like Spring!

In case you haven't notice I am a bit anxious for Spring to arrive.  The last couple of days have been glorious!  Between 50 and 60 degrees, which at the end of January is not exactly normal.  It's supposed to snow on Mon. and Tues., but I figure why not enjoy this beautiful day while I can.  I walked to the mailbox in a long sleeve t-shirt and pants, it's so nice not to have to be bundled up.  There maybe a walk in store for later, maybe even a run.  Well, I should be off. . .hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Spring Fever

I think I definitely have spring fever.  I am sooo ready for consistently warm weather and a nice spring rain!  I have never been much of a winter person and I think come January I am ready for no more snow and for the trees to start budding and everything to turn green.  Spring is by far my favorite season.  Everything comes to life and is just beautiful.  Oh spring please hurry up and come. . .then I can put pretty flowers in my planters again!

Rylan's 2!!!

Rylan Seamus is now an official 2 year old and I can hardly believe it!  Sometimes it still seems just like yesterday that I brought him home from the hospital.  Now, he's walking, climbing and starting to talk some.  I am very thankful for my little guy though, I can't imagine life without him now.  It'd be weird, just like it'd be weird not to be married.  God is good and definitely knows what he's doing and I am so happy and thankful that he blessed me with such a neat kid!

I have many favorite pictures of Rylan, but right now this is my absolute favorite one.

All dressed up for Christmas Eve

Christmas Festivities

Christmas was nice, but crazy this year.  We managed to have Christmas at our house, go to my parent's house and then to my in-laws all on Christmas Eve.  Then on Christmas we went to my Aunt's house and then to my husband's Grandmother's.  It was crazy busy and very nice to see family we don't get to see that often as they live out of state or in a city further away.   So, after all that craziness we enjoyed a week of relaxing and no school, it was great.  Here are a few pictures of us and some of the Christmas Festivities.

Greyson and I got each other a set of Legos.

Opening gifts from Uncle Patrick.

Christmas tree and gifts at my in-laws.

Family picture

My hubby in his Army sweater I got him :)

Me and my hubby.

My husband is a cat person, so what better gift then a cat calendar?!

Rylan got the Chronicles of Narnia from Uncle Patrick, he likes having it read to him.

Another family picture.

Rylan's first Legos!!!

So, there you have it.  That's just a few pictures of some the great time we had on Christmas Eve.  Now, life is back to "normal" and we are back to the routine of school and staying home.

P.S.  Up next is Rylan's 2nd Birthday!   I can't believe my little guy is going to be 2 on Saturday!!!

Lunar Eclipse Pictures

There was a lunar eclipse in December, I finally uploaded the pictures onto the computer.  So, here they are. . .only like a month late.

This was as the eclipse was starting.

It's hard to see, but in the middle top is the moon during the full eclipse.

Short Update on Life

It's a week into January and I already feel like time is flying by.  School starts next week, which I am actually excited for.  I have not blogged recently as it has been crazy busy with family and getting back to our normal routine.  I really love seeing all of our family, but it can wear you out a bit by the time everyone goes home and New Year's is over.  Life is good though and I look forward to what this year bring.  Such as, my little boy turning 2 in one week!!!  I can't believe how fast time has gone!  So, that's it for now, time to work out and then do some shopping.

P.S. Sometime here soon I will post some pictures from the holidays and from the lunar eclipse that was like 3 weeks ago.

And. . .1, 2, 3 GO!!! Back to the Normal Routine

So, the holiday season as it were has come and gone.  It's funny how it's crazy busy and then before you know it it's over and back to routine we go.  I'll have to say the last two Christmas' and New Year's have been 2 of the best I have ever had.  Last year I was anxiously awaiting for my now husband (Greyson) to propose, which he did on New Year's (even though I was half asleep on the couch).  This year was our first year as a married couple and we were able to enjoy Christmas time and New Year's with both of our families.  So, there will be more to talk about of our Holiday adventures (not sure how adventurous they were, but it sounds good anyway) and of course some pictures too.  Hope everyone is enjoying this new year and getting back to routine.
